Cross-cultural Training

"There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.” R. L. Stevenson

Most expats receive great support from their companies in the process of finding a house or a new school but are completely detached from the settling in phase of the family within the new environment and culture while coping with the stress related to the transition.

This is particularly true for partners and spouses who are, most of the time, left alone in this process to deal with new cultures and languages, stressful phases of adapting and everyday issues.

From a company perspective, these issues may result in the failure of the professional assignment due to the pressure from the family conflicts that result.

Often an informative session, supported by a few individual meetings, can help expat families to find the right balance along with a new sense of being alive while exploring what happens when we venture beyond the boundaries of our everyday life.
